Distribution Research

In the current day, film distribution can be done various ways. A major motion picture often plays at theaters that are owned by the studio or the parent company of the studio that makes the picture. There is also home video which includes but is not limited to DVD's, Blue-ray, and online streaming. There are many independent distribution options as well as finding a person to sponsor your film. To distribute my own film I would like it to show at festivals and be an independent distributor because the calm, easy going, and  fun scene fits my film better.
